Jose Rizal University Campus

The Jose Rizal University campus in Lipa City will be JRU Manila’s extension in Batangas province. The campus will offer human resource management (HRM) courses and is projected to accommodate around 2,000 students.

This new campus will contain classrooms, laboratories, administrative offices, a library, gymnasium, and other student facilities centered on a quadrangle, and surrounded by lush greenery originally found in the site. A network of covered walkways, punctuated by study nodes and social areas, will connect all the facilities.

Careful consideration in the orientation and placement of buildings will allow for breezeways and shaded activity areas. The design will also employ several green features such as rainwater collectors, light shelves for indirect indoor lighting, and deep overhangs for protection from the elements.
