Patria de Cebu will be the centerpiece of the Catholic Church’s Jubilee Year festivities in 2021, commemorating the 500th anniversary of the arrival of Christianity in the Philippines.
It will be built on a 6,670 sqm lot across Metropolitan Cathedral, owned by the Archdiocese of Cebu. As part of heritage conservation efforts, the existing Patria de Cebu Inc. building fronting Metropolitan Cathedral will be repurposed for retail F & B and gallery spaces. It will flow seamlessly to the new Patria de Cebu corte, a 1,000 sqm open plaza. Patria de Cebu will be a mixed-use development that will include a retail complex, hotel, office and convention facilities.
