The Hotel Donatela is the new name for an existing resort which will be expanded to introduce additional accommodations and new amenities, as well as upgrading of existing facilities. The new accommodations will be provided in three hotel clusters of various heights connected by canopy walks or bridges 12 meters above ground. Each cluster will consist of two room pods with a circulation pod in the middle.
The elevation of the pods will feature a bamboo screen in basket weave pattern that will act as a sunshade for the units within. It will incorporate green features as naturally ventilated corridors, a sky lit central atrium, rainwater collection, double piping sanitary system, among others. Located on a 7.5 hectare lot in Panglao, set in a lush tropical paradise, Hotel Donatela is poised to be the new green vacation destination in Bohol.
